Introducing Innovations to Society

Innovations to Society (ITS) is a global humanitarian organization dedicated to bringing innovative, renewable-energy technologies to the developing world to improve quality of life while reducing carbon emission. Specifically, we seek to provide solar-powered lighting to a subset of the nearly 2 billion people who have no access to a reliable electric grid, and must use fossil-fuel powered lamps for lighting.

Employees of MTN Nigeria, through their cooperative society, MTN
Employees Multipurpose Cooperative Society (MEMCOS) have employed one of our functional solar lamps for their schoolkids. A staff of
MEMCOS, Mr. Felix, says their members are getting the lamps for their
schoolchildren. It is observed that the lamps are convenient and ideal
for schoolkids, allowing them to continue to study their books when
the electricity company (PHCN) takes off their light and they are
tired of putting on the usually noisy and environment-polluting
generators.

Innovations to Society (ITS) solar lamps are efficient,
environment-friendly, and produces bright and clean lighting, which
also charges varieties of cell phones and other handheld devices.
